About Us

The CGS Family Counseling and Wellness Center is Catholic Guardian’s mental health clinic. We offer in-person and telehealth services. The main site is located in the Bronx, and there is a satellite location in Harlem. We provide a comprehensive array of psychological and psychiatric services for children, adolescents, young adults, and their caretakers suffering from mental or behavioral health challenges.

We partner with children and families to treat depression, anxiety, behavioral issues at home or school, sadness, and other concerns. We primarily serve children, adolescents, young adults and families from underserved communities in the Bronx. The CGS Family Counseling and Wellness Center has extensive experience serving children, adolescents, young adults, and their families who are, or who have been, involved with the child welfare system.

Our bilingual mental health therapists work with consumers and their caregivers to assess potential problems and explore solutions in order to create happy, healthy families and relationships. Crises can and will affect everyone in the family - our approach is to work with the child, adolescent, and caregiver to resolve issues collaboratively.
